Suddenly Very Busy

First things first.  WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR BLOG??????????  I'm feeling crazy right now.  That's what happened.  That covered...moving on.

So, I had my birthday party with Aimee yesterday night.  It was lots of fun.  We played games, and played games, and ate food and played more games, and ran around outside in the wind like maniacs, and played more games, and talked a lot, and cake ate....WOW....ate cake.  I just love hanging out with my friends :)  Love all you guys.

It was midnight when everyone finally left.  We had kept the carpets clean all week for my party.  The carpets were so clean and shiny.  I was opening my cards and presents in the living room.  Can you guess where I'm going with this???  Ha...probably not.  Anyway, to be quite short I left my parent's bedroom door open earlier and the dogs got in there and ate an entire bag of raisins.  Dog bowl lesson...raisins are toxic to dogs.  No-one died.  Whew.  But...they did throw up all over the carpets (just minutes after my party ended).  Nice ending to a party, right?  God has such a sense of humor.  Mary and I were up till 2:30 in the morning getting our sick dogs settled in the kitchen and we camped out in the family room.  I was just closing my eyes when I remembered I had video for Godspell in the morning.....

On the topic of God...I have lately taken to doing my bible time in study hall because I often don't have time to get it done in the morning.  I want so much to develop a greater passion for God and his word but I am soooo easily distracted by other things that I fail to pray and read the Bible as much as I should.  Kylie mentioned this in one of her blog posts and that really made me realize how I have let other things be first in my life.  Thanks kye :)

"Don't you love me Elsie?" he asked.
"Yes Uncle Horace...I love you a lot," Elise replied.
"But do you love me above anyone else?" he asked again.  Elsie hugged him reassuringly.
"I love Jesus best.  And you next."     ~A Life of Faith: Elsie's Endless Wait
